CUlture OF Nature
The project CULTURE OF NATURE, has scientific, educational, creative, social and cultural approach. This project is designed for education, research and workshops in the field of biology, culture and history in R.N.Macedona.
We dedicate this project to the natural rarities, science, culture and botanical cultural connection between R.N Macedonia and Germany.
With great respect to our donator of this project – Goethe Institute, we honor the work of two German scientists-Johan Wolfgang Goethe and zoologists D-r Franc Dofline who stayed in Macedonia during the First World War.
He is the man who laid the foundations of the scientific approach to the Macedonian rich natural heritage and encouraged the idea of the scientific world to establish a Natural Science Museum in Macedonia (1926). The main goals of this project are developing educational, social and cultural capacities among young people, networking with world practices and exchange of experiences.
The project includes realization of several workshops :
1. BOTANICAL WORKSHOP – MATKA
2. HERBARIUM IN THE SCHOOL: Two botanical workshops – creation of a herbarium in Dimitar Pop Georgiev Berovski, Elementary school, Gjorce Petrov Municipality
3. NATURAL SCIENCE MUSEUM: A botanical activity in the Natural Science Museum (scientific research of the collected herbarium material
4. BOTANY AND MOSAIC IN DEMIR KAPIJA: A botanical and mosaic workshop in Demir Kapija with students and teachers from Dimche Angelov –Gaberot, Elementary school.
5. MUSIC FROM THE NATURE (Metamorphosis of plants) Composing music with collected sounds from plants and preparing a video clip for the Culture of Nature project
6. Presentation of a video clip in a scout camp in Ohrid
