Through programs dedicated to sustainable nature management and the protection of traditional and cultural ecosystem values in Mavrovo National Park, we unite in action for the development of the green economy and the preservation of our natural heritage.
It is a great honor to see an idea and a project recognized—one that, at its core, touches upon the essential values of sustainability, embracing both nature and human potential.
In Skopje on 20 of November, at the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in North Macedonia, represented by H.E. Ms. Iveta Hricová, together with MRK Dialog, we officially signed an agreement supporting our project Mavrovo National Park #Lab-Hub, within the framework of SlovakAid.
🌱 What this collaboration brings
Through this partnership, we will implement activities focused on the revitalization of traditional skills and values of the Mijak region, seen as a vital part of the 21st-century transition toward a green economy.
🌿 Biodiversity & Women’s Entrepreneurship
The project includes activities dedicated to the protection and promotion of biodiversity in the Mavrovo region, connecting this rich natural potential with education in design and business thinking, especially aimed at women’s entrepreneurship linked to plant-based, natural, and traditional heritage.
🚴♂️ Cycling for Nature & Well-Being
Cycling is promoted as a tool for ecosystem protection and revitalization, fostering the green economy, a healthy lifestyle, and sustainable tourism development in Mavrovo National Park.
🏘️ Galichnik Architecture
A series of activities will place Galichnik’s traditional architecture at the center of attention, working toward the preservation of this exceptional national value.
